Guillaume Nicoli
French patissier Guillaume Nicoli founded Ma Cherie in 2008 with the dream of bringing authentic French macarons and pastries to New Zealand. For over 15 years Guillaume has crafted his talent for constructing the finest french macarons, eclairs and cakes. Guillaume developed his passion for authentic french baking in a number of Michellin star restaurants. In 1995, Guillame worked for the world’s top-ranking french chocolatier and maestro Thierry Mulhaupt in strasbourg then Fauchon in Paris.
With that kind of experience it is not surprising Ma Cherie’s French pastry selection has the most authentic taste in NZ. Ma Cherie means “my darling” in French and represents the care all our staff put into every piece of hand crafted French pastry.
