'Le Chocolat' was introduced by the Aztecs to the conquistador Hernando Cortez in 1519 in Mexico.
Cortez then brought some home to Spain, and from 1585 cocoa beans were imported into Europe.
In France, Anne and Maria Theresa, respective wives of Louis XIII and
Louis IV, introduced the cocoaćto Versaille's nobles.Today, everybody knows and appreciates the
amazing taste and flavour of chocolate.
I created some small 'tablettes' just to appreciate the pure test.
Combined with a selection of dried fruits, this chocolate can be enjoyed without restraint.
The white 'Ivoire' tablette contains sesame seeds and dried apricot, a divine combination.
