Ma Cherie means “my darling” in French, and is the pastry brand started by French pastry chef Guillaume Nicoli. Guillaume has previously worked for the top ranking French maestro Thierry Mulhaupt in Strasbourg and also at Fauchon in Paris. He has also been a dessert chef at a number of Michelin star restaurants.
In 2005 Guillaume moved to New Zealand and has since worked as a manager of the French deli Pyrenees, where he creates many pastries.
Guillaume has now launched his own brand, Ma Cherie, wanting to create and introduce real French pastries to Kiwis.
